Scouting for Food
A Cub Scout and a Boy Scout promises "to help other people." What better way is there to show our Scouting Spirit than to participate in the annual Scouting for Food program?
There are different ways to participate, so that a Scout learns how to organize a charitable activity, interact with the public and see how Scouting can partner with other organizations to help others. The San Gabriel Valley Council partners with the Salvation Army and other organizations to fill food shelves at a time of year when assistance is most needed.
Every Cub Scout Pack, Boy Scout Troop and Varsity Team, Venturing Crew and Exploring Post can make a difference in the San Gabriel Valley Council by participating in this annual Good Turn.
