Camp Trask is a special place, tucked into Monrovia Canyon, only minutes from the hustle and bustle of the city. A brief drive up a meandering road camp and you are suddenly into a calming wilderness setting.   The silence in camp is broken only by the sound of the year-round stream which flows through camp. There are no city lights, so you can see the stars at night. There are lots of reasons to come to Trask:  The new dining hall, great swimming pool, Fort Rotary, and outdoor amphitheater for campfire programs.

OPEN CAMPING WEEKENDS -FUN FOR ALL

Please keep in mind that Open Camp Weekends at Trask will only provide your group with a campsite and if available, activity areas.  For EXCLUSIVE USE (350 campers or less) contact the camping department to make arrangements; cost is $3,500 for a BSA group or $4,550 for a Non-BSA group.

All non Scout groups are required to provide the San Gabriel Valley Council with a certificate of liability insurance as part of the process in securing a reservation.  Please fax this information as soon as possible to Sonia Guerrero Kagan at (626) 351-9149.  All certificates must be received prior to your group arriving at camp.  Thank you for your cooperation in this matter and complying with the Council’s policy.
