Only a fraction of the funds needed to operate the San Gabriel Valley Council, Boy Scouts of America comes from dues paid by the Scouts. Every year it actually costs out Council about $150 per Scout to run the programs, keep the camps up-and-running while conducting many other activities that those involved with Scouting have come to expect.
Scouting has always been honored by the generosity of individuals and organizations who provide their support. These generous donors do everything from sponsor improvements to individual campsites to donating their automobiles and including the Boy Scouts of America in their estate planning.
There are many ways to provide funding. Please take a look at some of the programs outlined here. You will find that there are several ways you can help Boy Scouts of America. |
